    A Pleasant Journey Becomes Nightmare

We, the students of our class went to the Buxa Reserve Forest. We were guided by our class teacher who made us learn about various kinds of plants and trees. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and started returning. We had to cross Buxa Reserve Forest. The sun almost faded into the west. Being aware, the driver of our bus picked up speed. Suddenly, we startled at a bursting sound midway in the dark jungle. Two tyres of our bus were punctured. We got down and kept on shivering in fear and praying to God for about two hours. Though they shuddered, our teachers guarded us. Time seemed unmoved. However, the tyres were re-fixed and the bus sped on. Our suspense and tension got over. Anyway, we reached home safely during the day-break. The horror of the journey haunts me still.
